Lauri Carlson realizes that this is the open window. 55, stable and enjoyable job, great family and husband, 2 dogs, 4 grown kids. The youngest turns 21, and she decides to leave it all and move to India. She lands a job in Chennai with an American International School and without a second glance leaves everything behind to move to India.

oooooohhhhh!!! i LOVE these photos!! you and nicole look lovely and like happy, relaxed travelers. :) some of the photographs are quite beautiful -- i love the one of the shy young women with their shawls half-covering their smiles.
but no stories for us?? please. tell us something.

The photos are so interesting. You both look like your're having a fantastic time. I miss your commentary, and am hoping to read more about your settling in phase. Some photos of where you live would be nice to see too.
